Hello blog, remember me?

Alright, it's been a long while.. Let me just get some things straight here. After that long 5day Cameron Highland trip in my last post, I also went to Kuantan a day after that for 1 night (to scout for peat swamps), another trip to Cameron Highlands, a field trip (as demo) to KJ mine lake-FRIM and another 2 night long field trip to Kuala Selangor's Nature Park (as a demo to the mangroves). Let's see if I can still get the dates right.

2nd - 6th March: Cameron's
8th - 9th March: Kuantan
14th March: KJ mine lake-FRIM field trip
17th-18th March: Cameron's
20th-22nd March: Kuala Selangor Nature Park (Mangrove)

I wanna have some pictures on each trip when I write up, so I'll take my time and slash them one by one here as I write. But yeah, now you see why I've been missing. I've also been doin lab demo work on Wednesdays for a Chemistry unit and juggling honours (that's why I've been going to Cameron's so much) work etc + lectures here and there. Finally, this weekend, is mine. I am at ease just being at home. hehe, nitez world =)

Inti and Mama Quilla

Welcome, the Sun God Inti
No non-grainy nice pictures of the sun -_-

and Mama Quilla
I like this
And the lab stalker who camwhores with my camera when I'm not looking (Sorry bout forgetting to rotate, connection's too horrible to consider re-uploading)
Lab Turtle and Sonja
What's that stuff? I spent a night in uni till 12am measuring 3 g of leaves to put into bags which I will use for a leaf litter decomposition study in Cameron Highlands. It's not all fun and picnics man. Yes, those on the table are coarse (pored) bags, those in the box are fine (pored) bags. I weighed a total of about 160 bags that night (9pm, two nights ago) O_O
bags.
Bags on the left filled with leaves (I sewed those) and those on the right waiting to be fed with their deserved 3 g.
The dustbin filling up with leaf stalks, and my Macaranga tanarius leaf stock in the black bag.
Yep, this was 10 pm. Watch em pile
Hooga!The increasingly crowded dustbin (10pm)
11 pm.
Uh huh hoo ha
This time, I was filling fine bags. the 48 coarse ones were done. This was before the other coarse ones were to be done. Coarse bags were harder to fill because they have big pores, so when you put in 3 g, you gotta make sure the leaves aren't crushed or they fall out of the holes and it ain't the right 3 g no more.

-_-

The connection welcomes me not. I post here for I cannot finish the post in peace with its constant disconnection. Goodnight people. I'll be in Cameron's for the week till Friday, goodbai amigos~

"Finish this post!" me blog says. And thus, I shall (I tried last night and my connection failed me, it's the 13th March 09).
Then Jin Seon visited and posed while watching a Korean drama episode
Yup, she was bored
The total that night. More ensued in Cameron's
The next day, repairing bags as Tajang snapped photos. I bought new scissors which I like a lot.
I also got a haircut. That was a frustrating day.. I remembered seeing a fat, balding but hairy guy wearing a shirt that read "Warning: May cause orgasm" and I almost failed to stifle my laugh in front him. I also didn't get my favourite young girl stylist at the place and got the droopy-cheeked auntie who ain't that good. No, I'm not pervy over the young stylist, but she's the first who worked at the saloon who's been cuttin my hair for about 2-3 years by now, so I'm comfortable with her.

My queue at the supermarket that day was also delayed by an Indian uncle who was way more popular than me for gettin so many calls and delayin the line.. that's after the auntie that took forever to get her turn done finished. She was trying to use her measley lil coupons to work and broke some eggs on the floor. Bahh, all in all.. a frustrating day.
When you get a guy who calls you gay etc etc all day trying to psycho you into that and then see a picture of him lookin at your rear like that.. worry creeps up your behind.. really. I was due to go on a trip with him the next day, with 6 others, thankfully.

Equipment of doom; we call her Corina, the coring device used to obtain 'cores' of soil from the ground by drilling manually. It's tough love..

Here are some
attempts at an artsy-fartsy pictures by Tajang.

My bagpack before the trip... I brought two in the end, the other housing my laptop and other stuff. This bag is now in tatters because of too much stuffing.

Tony: If it won't go in, it just won't go in!
