How was I to know I'd have to visit the airport SO many more times after that one day...

Advanced Leaf Study Course

It's all up there. Coming this May 3-14 May, an advanced "Leaf Litter Decomposition in Streams" course that fits right into what I need for my phD *fingers crossed* project. To be held in University of Coimbra, Portugal. My dad has half a foot in it for funding me there, and my lecturer has contacts who can allow me to stay a lil longer to travel around Europe.. Spain at least. Hmmm.. It all sounds really good, but will it take off? I don't know. I hope so. Dang it, Aerosmith is going to be in Spain about 6th June, how do I stay so long.. hahaha

The Airport(s)

My office has just expanded. My temporary job requires me to do airport pickups for new international students and I've been going to and from the airport(s) and campus so much that the office no longer feels like my work place. The airport, on the other hand, feels like my workplace.

Today, after working my butt off in the airport the previous day, catching a cold, but still doing pickups in LCCT, I encountered some students who didn't bring their documents and hence had to get them from outside the immigration (had to run out and in again). When I got back to campus, I noticed I left my bag containing about 200 bucks (uni's money), some documents and most importantly, my recent favourite read, my bible. I was praying and did all I can by calling all the offices I went to there to check - no luck. All gone. FML.....

NOT!

Only just now, I got a call from my colleague, Jon, who was to do airport pickups there. Praise the Lord, he has answered my prayers. Jon got my bag after consulting the security office I called earlier. Hallelujah~

*Mom and family has accepted (well, sortta..) me as a Christian. Hooha, life is good.

Random Pictures

It's time for some random pictures I've been stocking up in my phone. time to unload a little.

Will your balls drop you be scared if your sister greets you this way when you reach home late on a peaceful, quiet (and a little eerie) night? *picks balls up*
Curry Puff. So why do they cut it into pieces?
Because, it's a bloody huge mutated Gimongous MOTHER OF ALL CURRY PUFFS. We shared it among three of us.
Whatchoo lookin at? Moo~
The pirated (and failed) version of 'fruit tea' that my sister and I tried. Too much fruit, way too much lemon, and too little tea. But it was fun. Bleah!

Shorty faces reality when buying pants. Guess who? Peekaboo! boo.. -_-
Jin Seon's twin whom we purchased for her birthday: A shocked red shit.
One Malaysia! Having fun with a mask and bolster.

Hardworking dodo studying for her exam, thinking and pondering on her next move.

Jackpot! Did I hit it? or not? Notice my mileage meter above only shows 550 km? The last one died. Add another 110,000 or so to the figure and you'll get some truth.

Who wants some French fried?

Would you like to ride this when you get married?
Well, my uncle did, awesome stuff.
