Are You Leaf or Seed?

Yesterday was a frustrating day of telling friend from foe leaf from seed, as you can see above. That's a close up of the stuff I needed to separate. Meow. Still, it had its highlights.

Twirly, cute leaf I found among the horrid litter dungeon.

And the Friendly Butterfly Moth (since its wings are not erect at rest, it should be a moth)
Why do I say friendly?
Look, it's actually saying "Hi!". That's being pretty friendly for an insect.
Fear me

that's only what's left after I took out all the leaves etc etc. The last, tiny bits. Note that this is a macro shot, they're actually very small things.

Of all things to like... hahah.

Uh huh.. I don't think I did, but Dr. Adeline e-mailed me. I can't really say much from here though.

well the bug did spread its legs open for you...welcome enough. Bugs don't seem to move too much when taking photos? Do they not care, unlike,...bigger animals? Which tend to look at you a bit to see if you look odd or funny..then disappear

Generally they're quite camera-friendly. Unless you have something like.. an angry scorpion or something that flies (bees etc).

Totally get it with the bigger animals. Haha.
