Yesterday... All my troubles seem so far away

An appointment with the dentist yesterday morning made me a vampire. Okay, what happened was I took my grandma there for a check up (knew she'd need filling and her condition was bad, 8 cavities, hoo hoo) since she's been chickening out from it for god knows how long. I had to check my wisdom teeth anyway, will schedule a removal for the upper ones sometime after CNY. Good news is all my wisdom teeth grew straight and won't really require surgery; just normal extractions. Bad news... Now I haven't been to a dentist for god knows how long (I don't even remember nor do I want to, it'd be too embarrassing) and expected my teeth to require some... touching up. So, since I'm rescheduling extraction *whee I have no cavities*, I thought I'd do scaling. Which really hurt. Every space between each teeth bled as the dear dentist moved her tools to it, as I kept my eyes open looking at the reflection overhead. Of course I was thinking "What the hell, is scaling supposed to make me bleed like that???" and as it bled, it was obviously friggin painful (I was diggin my nails into my palms). When I was finally allowed to gargle *halftime*, the clear water that I put in my mouth returned a rusty brown colour when I spat it out O_O And on goes round two. Which was equally painful. What I was told at the end relieved me a bit though: "Don't be afraid of the bleeding, you have tartar between your teeth and there's only so much blood because you have gum infection. Just make sure you floss from now on, it'll continue bleeding for a few days".

Well, better to get it over and done with, and I flossed last night, yielding a little bit of blood. I tasted blood in my mouth yesterday for almost the whole day. When I told Su Ann... she said "Oh, don't think negatively of it, but I actually like the taste of blood in my mouth" to which I replied with my mouth agape. So after all that fiasco, I thought I did my homework flossing and the bleeding stopped quite quickly. Phew.

My bolster cover this morning O_O The patch was as big as my mouth would be if I were kissing tenderly... NO I WASN'T KISSING MY BOLSTER IN MY SLEEP! $(*&^%$#$#%)&(

As if that wasn't bad enough, when I finally willed my lazyself to the toilet to brush my teeth.. holy cow, my lips were blood red with a rim of dried blood both on the upper and lower lips and my teeth had a reddish tinge to them. *GARGLE & SPIT* Phlegm was blood red as was most of my saliva. And then I thought I saw a giant cavity in my left lower molars, which made me go O_O roar! Until I tried gargling properly and realized it's actually curdled blood caught up in the molar tooth's crevice. WTH that's disgusting!?


Oh yes, I highly recommend Colgate's Total Tartar Control coated floss by the way, it has some 'anti-shredding' technology that keeps it quite strong and in one strand unlike the Oral-B ones I've tried before. Those usually shred into many finer shreds as you floss, which sucks. This one kept in a piece while I flossed *proudly* my whole set of teeth last night, though I went gila when I noticed I choked my finger tip too long with the floss and it turned purple O_O Oh yeah, contrary to what I'm promoting, I actually hate Colgate toothpaste because they don't really taste minty enough, but I'm a controversial person and I'm using a tube now. Because my mom got shitloads of Colgate for free -_-

Maybank won't allow me to open an account until I renew my Mykad because it seems my smartchip is damaged and could not be read by their reader -_- So much for my heroics of buying credit *I ran out* to surf for on my phone for my institutions address to fill up their forms. Bahhh. Why must I have such a heavy arse to have damaged my card so bad -_-
